Next Sunday: Panel and Vote on Question 3, with Our Power and MAEC

By Meaghan Harned

September 3, 2023

We are excited to announce our September General Meeting, which will feature a panel discussion and endorsement vote opportunity for Question 3 on the ballot this fall. As you may know, this initiative - in favor of switching to a consumer-owned power utility - has the potential to greatly impact how we get our electricity here in Portland. We'd like to invite you to join us to discuss this proposal, and take the opportunity to make our voices heard via possible endorsement votes, on both affirmative and negative positions. Please see all the details for the meeting below, and stay tuned for another email in the next couple of days that contains even more info about our panelists and Question 3!

We are also excited to invite you to our Run Local Training with the Maine Dems this fall; if you have ever been interested in assisting on a campaign, or running for local office yourself, please see below and sign up to join us!

Thank you for your energy and participation, and we will see you soon!
