PDCC meeting reminder (this Thursday!) and announcement

The Portland Democratic City Committee (PDCC) will hold its next monthly meeting this Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Breakwater School.

I also have some important news for the PDCC: unfortunately, both myself and our vice chair Elizabeth Murphy need to resign from our officer positions for personal reasons. We will discuss it more at the meeting on Thursday, but this means that we will need to hold elections sometime soon, likely at the July meeting. If you are interested in running for either position, please let me know! We will send out a more formal announcement & details soon, but wanted to let everyone know now so that we can begin planning.

Now, the details for the meeting:

May 9, 2019
6:30-8:00 PM

Breakwater School
856 Brighton Ave, Portland, 04102
(In the white auditorium at the end of the parking lot.)

Agenda:

  • Discussion of hyper-local issues (District 3)
  • Officer/committee reports
  • Discussion of upcoming elections for chair & vice chair
  • PDCC website re-design
  • Action on state & national issues

If you’re active on social media, please RSVP and share our event on Facebook.

Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday!

Sam Tracy, PDCC chair
