QUESTION 4: An Act to Authorize a General Fund Bond Issue to Promote the Design, Development and Maintenance of Trails for Outdoor Recreation and Active Transportation, Do you favor a $30,000,000 bond issue to invest in the design, development and maintenance for nonmotorized, motorized and multi-use trails statewide, to be matched by at least $3,000,000 in private and public contributions?

Amendment to Portland City Code RE: An Act to Amend the City of Portland's Emergency Wage Provision

An act to Amend the City of Portland’s Emergency Wage Provision amends the City's minimum wage ordinance by limiting the application of the emergency wage provision in the ordinance to periods when the City of Portland has declared a state of emergency. In the current ordinance, the emergency wage provision in the city ordinance automatically takes effect whenever the State of Maine declares a state of emergency in a region that includes Portland, even if employment conditions within the City of Portland are not impacted or altered.

An Act To Amend Portland's Short Term Rental Unit Registration Requirements amends the list of information required to register short term rental units in Portland. This amendment will be effective beginning September 1, 2025.
