Are you ready to vote on the future of the CMP transmission line? There’s a referendum question about it on our 2021 election ballot, and many Portland voters still aren’t sure how to decide. This Thursday, we are having a Portland Dems member discussion about Question 1.
We will have an opportunity to learn more from advocates on both the “Yes” and “No” positions, we will have a member discussion about it, and we will have the opportunity to vote whether or not to endorse the referendum as PDCC at this time. Come learn more, be part of the discussion, and vote!
PDCC October Meeting:
Ballot Questions Discussion & Vote
Thursday, Oct. 21, 6:30-8:00pm, over Zoom
In addition to Question 1, on Thursday we will be holding a discussion and vote on the City Referendum Options A, B, and C (regarding the city’s emergency shelter plans).
As the Portland Dems, we want to help each other make informed decisions and seek opportunities to collectively influence the public decision-making process. Come be a part of it this Thursday!
Everyone is invited to attend this virtual Portland Dems meeting and learn more. Only those who are registered Democrats in the City of Portland will be able to participate in the member discussion and vote. To begin our discussions, we are inviting a representative to speak on behalf of Yes on 1, No on 1, Option A, Option B, and Option C.
P.S. We will also have the opportunity to vote on a new Vice-Chair for PDCC. Let us know if you are interested in running for this position.
Remember to register here for the invite link. See you there!
Charles (PDCC Chair)
