  • Above is the list of the recently submitted Citizen’s Initiatives in circulation in Portland. These referendum questions have been submitted by citizens that seek to have them placed on the ballot in November. Each one received petition papers that must get 1,500 verified signatures in order to qualify for the ballot. 
    • Update 7/5/2022 – The remaining Citizen’s Initiatives below are those who turned in by the deadline and met the 1,500 valid signature threshold. These Initiatives will be on the November 8, 2022 ballot.
    • Update 7/11/2022 – Second Reading and Public Comment for the following Citizen’s Initiatives is scheduled for the August 8th Special City Council Meeting.
    • Update 8/9/2022 – The City Council approved these questions and summaries that will appear on the November 8, 2022 ballot.
