Consensus Decision Making a Short Guide
Grassroots organizing, like democracy itself, requires the engagement of the people. The Block Captain Team facilitates effective grassroots engagement by encouraging democratic participation in critical events, caucuses, city and county Democratic committee meetings and activities, primary and general elections, public informational and educational events, fundraising events, making financial contributions (small money from many in; big money from few out!) and in volunteering to build our grassroots people-centered movement.
