Portland Democratic Caucus – March 8!

Calling all Portland Democrats!

Come to the Portland Democratic Caucus on March 8 at King Middle School to learn how to win in 2020 – by defeating Susan Collins, winning back the White House, and keeping Augusta blue!

This year, the presidential nominee will be decided by a primary election on March 3; however, the caucus is still an important event. Delegates to the State Convention will be elected at the caucus (and at the State Convention, delegates to the National Convention will be chosen), and the caucus will mark the formal kick-off of our 2020 campaign efforts.

Doors to the caucus open at 11:30am and the caucus starts at 1:00pm sharp at King Middle School at 92 Deering Ave. in Portland. The snow date for the caucus is March 15. Can you volunteer with us to make the event a success?

So come out to stand up and be counted with fellow local Democrats, to learn about voter registration and turnout plans, and hear from many exciting speakers! Reach out to us with any questions: chair@portlanddems.org, and pre-register for the caucus here (not necessary to attend). See you on March 8!

FYI: For disability-related accommodations or ASL interpretation, please contact the Maine Democratic Party at caucus@mainedems.org or (207) 387-7500.

Gearing up for 2020!

Hello Portland Democrats!

I am excited to be taking on the role of chair heading into a crucial election year – for our state and country. It is time to create change in Washington and that change starts right here in Portland with electing a new U.S. Senator and making sure our state supports a Democrat for President.

I look forward to working with you all in the coming months. We have a lot of exciting things in store – from the caucus on March 8, to voter registration, to GOTV in the fall and hopefully changing the course of history!

Please reach out to me anytime, and I can’t wait to see you at a meeting soon!
